Independent Artist

Chrissy Collins is a Dallas-based abstract painter whose work is rooted in color, layering, and the quiet relationship between art and the spaces it inhabits. Over the past decade, her practice has grown from a creative outlet during early motherhood into a full-time studio commitment spanning private collectors, gallery representation, and growing relationships with interior designers across Texas and beyond. She studied graphic design, photography, and visual storytelling at Southern Methodist University, and before returning to painting, co-founded a stationery and paper goods line with her sister, an experience that deepened her understanding of color, composition, and the emotional language of design. Each piece is built slowly through many layers, created with the home in mind, and designed to grow with the people who live alongside it.
