About Urban Garden Prints

What is Urban Garden Prints?

Urban Garden Prints is a sister-owned art company offering thoughtfully curated fine art prints, framed art, canvas art, wallpaper, and more. Our collection features work from talented independent artists and is designed to make beautiful, high-quality art easy to incorporate into your home.

Do you accept submissions from new artists?

Yes! Supporting independent artists is a large part of what we do. We periodically review new artists for upcoming collections.

If you think your work would be a good fit for Urban Garden Prints, please visit our Contact page and send us a link to your website, portfolio, or Instagram along with a little information about you and your work.

Where are Urban Garden Prints products made?

Our products are proudly made in the USA and custom made to order.

Producing each piece specifically for you reduces unnecessary waste, helps keep costs down, and allows us to offer artwork in a wider variety of sizes, materials, frames, and sometimes colorways so you can choose what works best for your space.

Fine Art Prints

What is a giclée fine art print?

Giclée is a professional fine art printing process using high-resolution printing and archival-quality inks to beautifully reproduce the detail, color, and character of original artwork.

Our paper prints are professionally printed on heavyweight, acid-free fine art paper using archival-quality inks. The paper has a substantial, high-quality feel and is specifically selected for fine art reproduction.

Why did my art print arrive rolled, and how do I flatten it?

Unframed paper prints are carefully rolled for safe shipping, so some curl when first opened is completely normal.

To flatten your print, place it image-side down on a clean, protected flat surface and evenly weigh it down with clean books or other smooth, heavy objects. Allow it to rest for at least 24 hours. Larger prints may take several days to fully relax.

Avoid heat, moisture, tape, or adhesives on your artwork.

Handle your print with clean, dry hands and avoid touching the printed surface when possible. Keep it away from excessive moisture and prolonged direct sunlight. We recommend framing paper prints for long-term protection and display.

Will my art print look exactly like it does on my screen?

We work hard to represent each piece as accurately as possible, but screens vary in brightness, color settings, and resolution. Slight differences between what you see on your screen and the professionally printed artwork are normal.

Do you offer samples of fine art prints or canvas prints?

No. Because our fine art prints and canvases are custom made to order, we do not offer art samples.

If you are unsure about a piece or what size will work best, please contact us before ordering. We are happy to help with art and sizing recommendations.

Paper Prints, Canvas & Framing

What is the difference between a fine art paper print and a canvas print?

Both options reproduce the same artwork beautifully but create different finished looks.

Fine art paper prints are printed on heavyweight fine art paper and offer a classic framed-art appearance.

Canvas prints are printed on canvas and stretched over a wooden stretcher frame. Our canvases are not hand-embellished or painted after printing, but the canvas itself has a subtle natural texture that gives the finished piece added dimension. Wrapped canvases can be displayed on their own or paired with a floating canvas frame.

Both beautifully reproduce the artwork, so the best choice depends on the finished look you prefer for your space.

Do you offer framing?

Yes. All of our fine art paper prints and canvases are available with framing options directly through the product page.

Our framed paper prints do not include mats.

Can you help me choose the right art size?

Absolutely. Visit our Size Guide or send us a photo of your space along with approximate wall and furniture measurements. We are happy to recommend a size that works well for your space.

Wallpaper

What types of wallpaper do you offer?

Urban Garden Prints offers four wallpaper materials:

Clay Coated: A traditional matte paper wallpaper that requires wallpaper paste. Professional installation is recommended.

Pre-Pasted: A traditional-style wallpaper with water-activated adhesive already applied.

Peel & Stick: A self-adhesive option with a matte, lightly textured finish that offers easier installation and removal.

Vinyl: Our most durable Type II commercial-grade wallcovering, designed to resist moisture, abrasion, and stains.

What wallpaper is best for a bathroom?

For bathrooms and other humid spaces, we recommend Peel & Stick or Vinyl. Vinyl is our most durable option and is especially well suited for moisture-prone and high-use spaces.

What is the easiest wallpaper to install?

Peel & Stick and Pre-Pasted are generally the most approachable options for DIY installation. For Clay Coated or Vinyl wallpaper or larger and more complex projects, we recommend professional installation.

Do you offer wallpaper samples?

Yes! Wallpaper samples are available for purchase and are the best way to view the color, scale, and material in your own space before ordering.

Please keep in mind that screens and room lighting can affect how colors appear, and slight variations can occur between separate wallpaper production runs.

How much wallpaper should I order?

Wallpaper needs vary based on wall size, pattern repeat, doors, windows, and other architectural details.

Our wallpaper is sold in sets of two double rolls. If you are unsure how much you need, contact us with your wall measurements before ordering and we will be happy to help.

We recommend ordering all wallpaper needed for a room at the same time to help ensure consistency between production runs.
