Heidi Oates is a Lowcountry artist working in acrylics, known for her hand-painted wallpaper and marsh-inspired scapes created for homes throughout the region. Raised in Summerville and now based in Mount Pleasant, her work draws deeply from the natural beauty of the coast, featuring coastal palms, native foliage, and serene landscapes. Inspired by her surroundings, Oates brings a sense of peace and calm into each work of art. She has been voted Best Local Artist 2026 by Charleston City Paper and has been featured in The Design Ledger alongside prominent interior designers and fellow artists, continuing to grow a body of work rooted in the textures and tones of the Lowcountry.
