Haley Knighten is a Southern contemporary artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina, known for expressive swans, botanicals, and landscapes created for timeless, collected interiors. Her work blends traditional Southern influence with an unexpected contemporary edge—a style she describes as “moody maximalism with Southern soul.” Working primarily in acrylic, Haley builds her paintings through expressive brushwork, layered color, and texture. Her signature swans have become a recurring motif, alongside florals and landscapes inspired by home, memory, nature, and the beauty of familiar things.
